Daniel Scarberry
Product leadership / AI / security / mountains

Building systems for trust, autonomy, and hard objectives.

I build cybersecurity, AI, and adventure products: from SASE and Zero Trust tools to human-AI signalling systems, privacy utilities, cryptanalysis experiments, and mountain planning software. The work is shaped by service in high-stakes security environments and a life spent pursuing hard endurance objectives.

Projects

I post regularly about cybersecurity product strategy, AI-native workflows, trust systems, and what I am learning while building in public.

Mountains, endurance, preparation, and risk.

The same instincts that shape my product work show up in my personal life: planning hard objectives, managing risk, moving through uncertainty, and learning from the field.

Alpine objectives

Starting a long-term journey to climb the Alps, with route planning, GPS tracks, summit logs, and progress across the Alpine 4,000ers through 82Alps.

High mountains

Ski mountaineering and high-altitude objectives including Antisana, Chimborazo, and Cayambe.

Service under pressure

Deployed in Afghanistan as a Cyber Security Lead for the Department of Defense.
